New to Douneside House, our monthly Douneside Dining Club presents an unforgettable evening for those who enjoy the finest food and wine. Limited to only 12 guests, the evening is hosted in our library, an elegant and intimate location with a warming open fire, piano and candle-lit dining table shared by all guests.

Our 3 AA Rosette Head Chef, David Butters, will create a special 6-course tasting menu for these evenings, showcasing a variety of expertly crafted dishes that have been created exclusively for the event. He will personally introduce each dish, explaining the provenance of its ingredients and the cooking methods used. Our Sommelier will then provide a brief history on his choice of accompanying wines, explaining why each vintage perfectly complements the dish being served.

Along with our awarding-winning Chef’s tasting menu and the selection of fine wines, each evening is further highlighted by wonderful entertainment - from accomplished local pianists, to renowned guest speakers. The entertainment varies at each event - please contact us for details.
