Douneside Dining Club presents an unforgettable evening for those who enjoy the finest food and wine.

Our 3 AA Rosette Head Chef, David Butters (Scotland's Executive Hotel Chef of the Year, Scottish Hotel Awards), will create a special 6-course tasting menu for these evenings, showcasing a variety of expertly crafted dishes that have been created exclusively for the event. Our Sommelier will introduce each dish, explaining the provenance of its ingredients, followed by a brief history on his choice of accompanying wines, explaining why each vintage perfectly complements the dish being served.

Along with our Head Chef’s tasting menu and the selection of fine wines, each evening is further highlighted by wonderful entertainment - from accomplished musicians, to renowned guest speakers or an evening hosted by an award winning visiting winemaker. 'Meet the Winemaker' Evening

We are delighted to welcome Gordon Russell as our host at this dining club evening. Gordon is the Senior Winemaker at Esk Valley and has established himself as one of New Zealand's most recognised winemaking identities with his passionate approach to winemaking, and the enormous success he has achieved with his wines in tastings and competitions. Gordon has worked closely with our own Head Chef David Butters and our Operations Manager/Sommelier James Payne to ensure each course of the Dining Club evening's specifically created tasting menu is expertly complemented. Gordon is a wonderful host and this is an evening not to be missed!

Dress: Lounge Suit
The evening includes a specially created tasting menu with wine flight, coffee and petits fours.

£125 per person / or £225 per person to include overnight accommodation (with breakfast). £50 pp deposit required to secure the booking.
